Principle
W405 Infrared Water Vapor Permeability Analyzer adopts the principle of infrared
method. The pre-treated sample is fixed in the middle of the test chamber, and the test chamber is divided into a high-humidity side and a low-humidity side. The compressed air flows on one side of the film, and the dry nitrogen (carrier gas) flows at a fixed rate on the other side. Due to the existence of the humidity gradient, the water vapor will permeate from the high humidity side to the low humidity side, and the water vapor passing through the sample is carried to the infrared sensor by the flowing dry nitrogen, and the water vapor permeability of the sample is obtained by the electrical signal output by the sensor parameters

STANNOMetal 9000 is now the first product to provide accurate tin coating thickness (tin plating analysis) using the Windows TMoperating system. It is a computerized coulometric metal thickness gauge for tin plated steel.
The system uses new electrolytic/coulometric hardware and software. These coulometer cells are used by STANNOMetal to inspect tinplate samples, and perform thickness measurement testing on the tin plated ferrum.
The operator inserts the metal sample (strip, or actual sample – coated with tin) into the cell. Electrolytic fluid fills the cell and the cell is closed. Next, the measurement process can proceed, with top only, top & bottom or 3x top and bottom measurements. Profiles are presented for each of the tin plate steel measurements. The data can be zoomed in or modified as needed. The next measurement can take place, or a new measurement, using a new standard.
