Y310 Oxygen Permeability Analyzer is designed and manufactured based on the

Test Principle
Y310 Oxygen Permeability Analyzer is designed and manufactured based on the
coulometric sensor method. The pre-conditioned specimen is clamped in the test cell, oxygen or air flows on one side of the specimen while a stream of high purity nitrogen flows on the other side. Oxygen molecules permeate through the specimen into the nitrogen side and are carried to the coulometric sensor. The sensor analyses the oxygen concentration and calculates the oxygen transmission rate.

Principle
W405 Infrared Water Vapor Permeability Analyzer adopts the principle of infrared

Test principle
The N530 2.0 gas permeability tester adopts the principle of differential pressure method. Quality By Vision’s BTE-200 – Buckle Tester for Cans and Seamed Ends is an automatic, easy to use pressure of no return (PNR) tester for three-piece seamed cans. The system tests the maximum pressure applied to the can, where the can bottom still returns to its original position. The automatic results and the pressure graph are displayed in the built-in monitor. The hardware consists of a robust pressure chamber with a protective door and multiple safety features.
The operator positions an empty can inside the pressure chamber and locks it in the holding mechanism. Multiple adaptors are supplied for different can diameters. As soon as the safety door is locked, the operator presses the Start button to begin the measurement. Controlled air pressure is provided from the bottom and the pressure is gradually increased until all beads have buckled.
At the end of the measurement, the software automatically detects and displays the buckle points for each bead on the graphs.

Its measurement and control are vital for both safety and economic reasons. Chlorine exists in water as “free” chlorine (Hypochlorite) or “combined” chlorine (chloramines). Instructions
Remove one Low Level Chlorine test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers.
Dip the test strip into the solution being tested for 2 seconds.
Alternatively, place a drop of deionized water on the indicator pad of the test strip, and press the pad firmly against food handling equipment, tables, or even the skin of fruit and vegetables themselves.
Remove and shake off any excess liquid.
Compare to the color chart after 30 seconds.

The use of a Chlorine Dioxide Test Strip can provide fast and reliable monitoring of chlorine dioxide levels, including residuals. The High Level Chlorine Dioxide Test Strips detect levels from 0-500ppm in increments of 0, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500. Chlorine dioxide has a higher oxidation capacity than chlorine or ozone, which means lower concentrations of chlorine dioxide can be used to achieve effective disinfection. It can also be used when large amounts of organic matter are present. Instructions: Using a cup-size sample, immerse the Chlorine Dioxide test strip for 2 seconds. Remove the strip with the pad face up. Do not shake off excess water. With pad still facing up, wait 10 seconds and read the strip against the color chart. Discard test strip after 30 seconds.

Unlike most of our other test strips, this strip can not be used as a standalone product. It requires use of other products that are not provided, therefore please read this description in full before ordering. The Fluoride test strip detects Fluoride at 0, 10, 25, 50, and 100ppm. This test strip is used for monitoring fluoride levels in drinking water supplied by city or townships. Too much fluoride present is harmful to humans and animals. The solution to be tested must be at a pH of 0.5 in order for this test to be accurate. This pH measure can be accomplished using concentrated Hydrochloric acid (muriatic acid) to acidify the test solution, and measured using our acidity test roll. You can buy Hydrochloric acid online, at a local hardware or pool/spa store, as well as at any chemical distributors. We do not sell Hydrochloric acid and it will not come with these test strips.

From an agricultural standpoint, knowing the titratable acidity (TA) of apples is imperative to informing harvest decisions and monitoring cold storage. As a result this has become commonplace amongst growers and Accuvin is proud to be an industry leader in these kinds of tests. For all apple varieties there is an optimal TA level for harvest. Over time after harvest, acid levels decrease while sugars drift upward, even if the lot is properly stored. After roughly 150 days in storage, early, mid, and late harvested apples reach the same lower acidity levels.

In addition to using these tests for agricultural analysis, they can be used to test the TA of ciders during alcoholic fermentation. The level of TA is important to know both before and after primary alcoholic fermentation in the production of hard ciders.
The acidity level before fermentation can affect the rate of alcoholic fermentation, the type of flavor components produced, and the likelihood of producing unfavorable flavors. The acidity level after fermentation affects the overall balance and acceptability of a cider.

With rising pressures on canneries and can makers to increase productivity, minimize changeover time and unplanned stops and ensure higher quality closures, accurate seamer setup has never been more important. Often, companies make due with just meeting the seam specifications, often ignoring high variation between different heads on the same seamer and missing hard to detect issues like microleakers.
This often means that the slightest change in incoming materials, like end plate thickness, can flange, can height and the seamer’s own tolerances will cause some of the seams to go out of specs.
The Clearance Gauge is able to not only quickly and accurately set up the seamer and fix issues that come up from time to time, it makes sure that all seamer heads are performing perfectly and identically. Some canners are increasing the amount and frequency of seam checks and subsequently have to stop the line more often, or use expensive systems like X-rays or online systems to ensure more seams are within tolerance. Today
Most companies use feeler gauges or wire gauges to try and determine if there is enough distance between the roll and chuck. Of course, this is an inaccurate and difficult procedure even in the hands of experienced seamer mechanics. Similarly inaccurate methods are used for adjusting roll height off the chuck.
More often than not, rolls need to be readjusted after the first seam check and as the seamer warms up. For vertical adjustment, most companies use a vertical “pin height gauge”. However, the height and lateral distance adjustment affect one another because of the shapes of the roll and chuck profiles.
In some cases, problems with the seam are often solved by tightening the 2nd operation, whereas the real solution could be that the 1st operation should actually be tightened or even loosened!

This strip is made to test the pH of beer mash when homebrewing. It is recommended that you take a sample of your mash and test that, instead of dipping the strip directly in your beer. It will not work on distilled water or tap water, so if you are testing one of those and not beer you will not get an accurate measurement. Instructions:
1.Remove one Beer pH test strip from the vial.
2.Dip the test pad into the solution being tested for 1-2 seconds.

This test is intended for measuring the levels of residual yeast-fermentable sugar in fermented must and wine. It can also be used for testing other juices and natural fermentations. It will not detect sucrose. Residual Sugar measures the sugars reduced in primary fermentation. The test range is 100-2,000 mg/L.
Residual sugar is that amount of sugar left following completion of primary (alcoholic) fermentation. The residual sugar can vary over a wide range depending primarily on desired wine style and secondarily on characteristics of the original must, e.g., level of titratable acidity. Residual sugar concentrations are important for determining the completeness of fermentation, for sensory characteristics, and for microbial stability of wine. Technically “dry table wines with no fermentable sugar” are typically defined as having a reducing sugar concentration of less than 2 g/L, although in a sensory context, the absence of perceived sweetness is achieved at concentrations below 5 g/L.
Reducing sugars in wine consist of hexoses (mainly glucose and fructose) and pentoses (mainly arabinose and xylose). The pentoses are not fermentable by wine yeasts. Since pentoses alone can vary from 0.4 to 2.0 g/L,1, 2 the best measure of the completion of primary fermentation is the determination of glucose plus fructose.

The Potato test paper is designed to detect sugar levels in potatoes. The amount of free glucose is directly proportional to the darkness of the potato once fried, thus the strip can be used to determine color prior to deep frying. Potato test paper can also be used to demonstrate osmosis across a membrane, by showing that glucose, but not starch, crosses the barrier. The color chart indicates concentration levels in mg/dL but this can be converted to mmol/L by multiplying by 0.055. eg. 100mg/dL is equal to 5.5 mmol/L.
Instructions:
1.Select 5 or more potatoes from the lot of potatoes of which you want to determine the sugar content.
2.Cut one potato in half lengthwise.
3.Take one potato test paper from the bag. Do not handle the test strip with your hands except where you grasp it to remove it from the bag.
4.Apply the strip flat to the length of the potato and press the two halves of the cut potato back together so that all parts of the strip are moistened with potato juice.
5.Immediately remove the strip from the potato.
6.Wait 1 minute. If the strip remains yellow, it indicates that no glucose sugar is present and potato chips will fry a light color.
7.If the strip turns green, compare it with the color chart. Any strip darker than the 1/10% color will likely fry to dark.
8.Wipe knife blade before cutting the next potato.
CAUTION: Discard all potatoes which come into contact with the test strips. Do not process a potato to which the test strip has been applied. Potato test paper is not intended for medical diagnosis.

The portion of total SO2 that is bound to other chemical components has reduced effectiveness as a preservative by 30 – 70%, and as such free SO2 is a much more useful figure in winemaking. Also, the degree of binding can change over time, affecting the ability of an adequate dose to continue providing its preservative properties. The effectiveness of sulfur dioxide as a preservative is also pH-dependent, with low pH wines requiring lower levels, and high pH wines requiring significantly greater concentrations to achieve the same effectiveness as in a typical wine with a pH of 3.3 – 3.4.

Our Laboratory Grade Lead Acetate Test Paper detects Hydrogen Sulfide in water in concentrations as low as 5ppm. Use this test paper to test your drinking water, well water, groundwater, or air.
Instructions:
Dip the test paper into the water for a few seconds, and remove.
At approximately 1-3ppm, the white paper will start to turn grey.
As the concentration increases, the color of the paper will turn darker up to 400ppm.
You can also moisten the paper with distilled water and place in an area where Hydrogen Sulfide is thought to be present (an acetate buffer is not necessary).

Chlorophenol red water leak detection paper dramatically indicates the presence of water with a bright red color. The water indicator paper sheets shown in the image are 8×10″ (200x250mm). The native color of the sheets is yellow & the wetted sections turn red to a deep purple (depending on the liquid’s pH) when exposed to liquid water. They are insensitive even to high humidity levels unlike the cobalt chloride papers.
Chlorophenol Red (CPR) test paper is useful in differentiating between a solution with an acidic pH and one with a more neutral pH. Given that the paper starts out yellow/orange and turns red at roughly the pH of water, it is useful in finding water leaks.
Instructions for use: 1. Remove one Chlorophenol red test paper sheet from the packaging, being careful not to touch the sheet anywhere other than where you grasp it.
2. Dip the sheet into the solution to be tested for 1-2 seconds and remove. Alternatively, place the test sheet near a seal where you suspect there might be a leak. Note: Do not dip the sheet directly into a solution that may later be consumed. Always test a sample of the solution and discard it when finished.
3. The test paper will turn red/violet in seconds if dipped into a solution that is neutral (pH ~ 7) or basic (pH >7).
NOTE: The solution must be water-based or no reaction will occur.

Universal pH paper reacts quickly to produce a permanent record of water leakage even where different pH levels may occur. This pack comes in 24 x 8″x10″ (200x250mm) sheets. Each sheet can be cut up to put in hard to reach places or laid out under pipes to detect leaks.
The color of the sheet when wet will correspond to the liquid’s pH. Please consult this products images for the color chart. This test is not ideal if you are simply looking to test the pH of a solution, for that we recommend our pH test strips.
This test paper is made from a blend of: Phenolphthalein, Methyl Red, Bromothymol Blue, and Thymol Blue. The native color of the sheets is orangish-yellow but changes at different pH levels due to the various indicators. This makes it useful as both a pH indicator & water leak detector.

Studies have shown that ammonia can affect fish growth, osmotic pressure balance, metabolic activities, and can cause some damage to fish. And ammonia in an aquarium can come from several sources, including fish waste, uneaten food and other decaying matter. It is necessary to test ammonia for your fish regularly. Know your fish better, give fish a healthy safe aquarium environment.
The Ammonia test strips are used to test for tank contaminants in aquariums and will detect the presence of ammonification from protein degradation. The chart reads 0-6ppm, 0ppm being ideal, 0.5 to 1.0ppm being stressed, and 3.0-6.0ppm being dangerous. It conveniently also has marked on the bottle what the readings mean – so you can know when corrective action is needed. The pH indicator pad in the Ammonia test strip is constructed to react only to the gaseous ammonia generated by the alkaline environment on the first test pad. The unique construction of the strip reduces, and in some cases eliminates the potential for many interferences, such as CN-, Fe, Mn, Ca, etc.
The strip is composed of two filter pads. The first filter pad acts as an absorbent and takes up the water sample. The first pad has been treated with alkaline materials. This alkaline environment converts any ammonia to the gaseous state. The second filter pad is an hydrophobic material that has been treated in such a manner that only the gaseous ammonia is absorbed by the second filter pad. The second filter pad contains an indicator(s) capable of detecting the gaseous ammonia through a change in the pH of the filter pad
